Lucky page two

Webmaster's experience

Lucky didn't appear to have eaten one night, typically at the start of a bank holiday weekend, I was going to take her to the vets on the tuesday but she was eating again by then. Tuesday night I noticed a small red patch just under her eye I thought she must have scratched it, the following night I could almost watch a small lump appear just under her eye.

Lucky
She had a 'pus filled lump' (I guess this is the definition of an abscess?) right in the corner of her lower eyelid (tear duct area), the vet very gingerly drained it with a syringe, (she was a little angel) and she was prescribed antibiotics twice a day. She then had to go in for another spur op

Thankfully after her second operation she was eating normally almost straight away.

Lucky only seems to get one tiny spur but it rubs on her gum causing a sore which in turn hinders her feeding.

But in September 2004 she started crumbling her pellets so we booked her in for another op. Unfortunately she had the op the day before Tiger became very ill so did not receive the monitoring she should have done post op. I failed to notice she was still losing weight.
